Nano Science Group

    The Nano Science Group have wide interests on the scientific subjects as ferromagnet-organic hybrid structures, organic semiconductors on single-crystal and dielectric surfaces, interface and surface functionalization of organic optoelectronics, spinterface of organic spintronics, self-assembled monolayer on Si, van der Waals materials on optoelectronic semiconductors, strongly correlated system with rare-earth intermetallic compounds, and high k dielectrics on III-V in the 7 - 5 nm scale. Techniques cover X-rays photoemission electron microscopy (XPEEM), scanning tunneling microscope (STM), x-ray spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, scanning probe microscopy, scanning transmission X-ray microscopy (STXM), near-edge X-ray adsorption fine structure (NEXAFS), inelastic X-ray scattering (RIXS), high-pressure x-ray emission spectroscopy, high-resolution spin-selective x-ray absorption spectroscopy. Recently, we have extended the research ability to probe the electronic structure of materials at the ambient pressure.
