Scientific Research Division

In addition to providing high-quality photon sources and related facilities, NSRRC is expected to build innovative research programs in the sub-fields of physics, chemistry, materials science and life science, etc.  Scientific Research Division (SRD) was therefore established in 2008 to develop novel experimental approaches related to synchrotron radiation for cutting-edge scientific research.  In 2012, NSRRC began to oversee the Taiwan’s neutron program at ANSTO, and formed a neutron group under SRD.  Currently, the Division has 6 groups with their research activities detailed described in the following.

國家同步輻射研究中心除了提供優質的光源和相關設施外，主要目的是帶領在物理、化學、材料科學、生命科學等領域的研究創新。中心自2008年起，成立了科學研究組，利用先進的同步輻射設施進行其最尖端的科學研究，包括分子科學、影像科學、表面與薄膜科學、凝態物理、材料化學、材料物理、能源科學、生命科學、醫藥學、中子應用科學及其他同步輻射應用科學等。在組織上，科學研究組設有組長、副組長及秘書，組內分有六個小組，每小組設有小組長、研究員、博士後研究、研究助理等，運用其學術專長與先進技術設施來進行各種相關的研究。有關研究人員與其研究領域，請參考以下各小組內的詳細資料。
